April founded Briteburn HR Services Inc. to bring seasoned, strategic HR leadership to organizations navigating growth, change, and complexity, offering clarity, confidence, and steady guidance when it matters most.

With 25+ years of progressive HR and business executive experience, April has supported organizations across Canada, the U.S., and internationally, partnering with executive teams through mergers and acquisitions, integrations, restructures, and enterprise-wide change. She also brings a strong governance perspective through service on multiple Boards, with a deep understanding of fiduciary responsibilities and the role of people strategy in oversight.

April has held senior HR leadership roles with organizations including RONA, Kal Tire, Allnorth, the City of Medicine Hat and Ledcor, with experience spanning construction, engineering, manufacturing, government, and large multi-site operations. Clients value her ability to quickly assess complex environments, anticipate people risks and opportunities, and translate strategy into practical, scalable solutions, whether modernizing HR practices and systems, navigating cross-border workforce challenges, or integrating cultures post-acquisition.
